HGV Class 1 Drivers Needed - Nantwich

Are you a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a new opportunity or any extra shifts?

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for work at a leading logistics company based in Nantwich. We offer regular shift patterns, regular work and have various start times to suit you.

Role Overview:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out a mixture of local and distance work to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) across the UK. This role involves driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided trailers, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.

Hours & Shift Patterns

• Shifts available Monday to Friday each week, either Day runs or Tramping
• Start Times are flexible between 0200 - 2300 - choose a four hour start time window
• Extra Shifts Available on Saturday - Paid at Overtime Rates

Pay:

• Monday to Friday £14p/h PAYE or £17.50 Umbrella
• Saturday £20.50p/h PAYE or £25.50 Umbrella
• Night Out - £26.20 Per Night Out

Duties:

• Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle with curtainsided trailers
• Making deliveries and collections of Palletized goods to RDCs across the UK
• Some deliveries are self tip, these are minimal and you will back on to a bay at most delivery points.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and managing your driving hours

Skills & Experience:

• HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, CPC & Digi Card
• At least 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
• Over 25 for insurance
