Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and outcome-driven lessons in ICT, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Plan and implement active learning strategies that encourage student engagement and independent thinking.
• Assess student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, ensuring regular feedback for improvement.
• Integrate blended learning techniques to enhance classroom instruction and foster digital literacy.
• Support the development of student's computational thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning and embed technology across subjects.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with proven success in teaching ICT or Computer Science.
• Strong knowledge and passion for digital technologies, coding, and e-safety.
• Experience in creating engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles.
• A commitment to fostering a growth mindset in students, encouraging them to challenge themselves and embrace new challenges.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• Familiarity with modern educational technology and a willingness to embrace new teaching tools and methodologies.
